Falaci is an Indonesian-based electronic rock unit that blends introspective rebellion with cinematic intensity. Formed by five musicians with distinct sonic identities, Falaci channels modern existentialism into a sound that is both raw and refined, pairing unsettling realism with polished atmosphere. Their music speaks to the quiet revolt inside everyday life, exploring what it means to navigate a world that feels increasingly structured, monitored, and emotionally disconnected.
The lineup consists of M. Naufal Dzaky (vocals, synth), whose restrained yet charged delivery anchors the band’s narrative voice; Arafat Zawaid (bass), whose grooves shape the band’s rhythmic backbone; Alfian Prasetyo (lead guitar), whose textural approach adds sharp emotional edge; Devhara Carnadi (keys, synth), responsible for the band’s immersive tonal architecture; and Aliefta Widhiawan (rhythm guitar), grounding each track with steady, deliberate tension. Together, they create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and vast, a reflection of modern life’s contradictions.

Falaci Debuts with prototype (demo) — Indonesia’s Electronic Rock Unit in Motion
Making their entrance as a new band, Falaci debuts with the four-track demo EP, prototype (demo). Falaci demo, prototype (demo), isn’t just a preview of what’s to come; it’s a process of a band in motion. It captures Falaci in the act of finding themselves — experimenting, reshaping, and refining their sound in real time. For them, music isn’t a destination, but an ongoing process of exploration.
The demo EP features four tracks, each given a conceptual title: “prototype 1”, “prototype 2”, “prototype 3”, and “prototype 4”. Only one of these tracks is released in full on Digital Streaming Platforms (DSP), while the other three are presented as preview tracks. The complete, full-length versions of all four songs can be accessed via purchase on Bandcamp or through the physical release of prototype (demo).
Built on percussive rhythms, groovy bass lines, and layers of textural experimentation, prototype (demo) lays the groundwork for the world Falaci wants to build as they continue their process toward a debut album in 2026.
